The largest European federation of Next Generation Internet testbeds expands with new facilities and hardware
Three new testbeds will join the Fed4FIRE+ federation as a result of the selection of the last Fed4FIRE+ Competitive call for innovative testbeds.
Advanced Federation
- ATCLL – Aveiro Tech City Living Lab, Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT), Universidade de Aveiro – Portugal
- Smart Networks for Industry (SN4I), Fed4fire Integration (SN4IonFire), Universidad del País Vasco / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU) – Spain
Light Federation
- ISEP Visible Light Communications Testbed, ISEP VLC Testbed, ISEP – France
For the next few months, the testbeds will contribute to improve a federation of over 20 top-notch Internet research infrastructures, bringing new opportunities to the over 100 Fed4FIRE+ experimenters from European SMEs, industry, academia, and research organizations.
